Cork Penny Dinners donations pour in!

Full to the brim! Several carloads of confectionary were delivered to Cork Penny Dinners in the past week, thanks to the generosity of Mallow/Vale Star readers. Over the Christmas period the Vale/Mallow Star asked for donations of chocolates, biscuits and general confectionery for Cork Penny Dinners, and boy did you respond! Generous people have been calling to our offices in Mallow or Charleville for the past few weeks, and we are glad to say that we were able to fill several cars with goodies for people who use the Cork Penny Dinners service. We are so grateful for everyone’s kind-hearted donations – you’re all stars, every one of you!
