The 40th anniversary Dublin City Marathon will be held next Sunday, 27th October, and one runner from West Limerick has the distinction of taking part in every marathon in the capital since its inception. Seamus Cawley from Rathkeale is one of only 13 runners – 12 men and one woman – who have completed every Dublin Marathon, and he will be a special guest at the race on Sunday as he goes for his 40th successive Dublin marathon to add to the many he has done elsewhere. Seamus is a member of West Limerick AC and is a regular at races all over Limerick and further afield, and we wish him every success. Best wishes too to the many other runners from West Limerick who have been training hard for months. We hope you all have a great day with lots of personal bests.
