A young West Limerick woman is one of two new faces of Nuacht Cúla4 Team.
She is Katelyn Hayes from Carrigkerry. Katelyn grew up on a farm and loves living in the countryside. Her grandmother, Annie lives nearby and Katelyn likes to spend time with her and listen to her tell stories from when she was young.
She attended Carrigkerry National School, and Scoil Mhuire agus Íde Secondary School, Newcastle West.
Katelyn obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Irish and Maths, as well as a Master’s Degree in Media and Journalism, both from the University of Galway.
Nuacht Cúla4 is a daily six-minute news bulletin as Gaeilge, specifically for children, broadcast from Tuesday to Friday at 1.30pm on children’s channel Cúla4.
