In glorious sunshine last Saturday morning our volunteers were joined by members of Mallow AC and what a lively bunch they are! We can assure you their arms work as fast as their legs as they flew through cleaning and painting the railings and crash barriers with us at the Beecher Street Roundabout. Thanks to their efforts, our workload is considerably lighter. Matty from Food Capers was on hand to feed and water us, and just in time too, as the heat was catching us! Thank you, Matty and thanks too to Mallow AC! This is what community spirit is all about, everybody helping each other.
We still have some slots available for other sports groups to join us in improving the appearance of one of the prime approach roads to Mallow. Either Saturday or Sunday morning from 10.30am for the next few weekends we will continue to work on this area and will gratefully accept all the help we are offered. So come on and make contact with us at mallowtidytowns@gmail.com, message us on Facebook or through the ‘contact’ page on our website, www.mallowtidytowns.weebly.com. You can also call either Anne (086 818 7954) or Paudy (086 3436 283). Individuals, groups or crowds, we welcome all!
