Adare is Tidiest Town in Limerick

With 381 marks (out of 470), Adare has been voted Limerick’s Tidiest Town, and with it a gold medal and a prize of €1,000. In the runner-up spot were Galbally (376), while Castleconnell finished third on 372. Both also received silver medals.
In Category A (population under 200), Templeglantine (349) and Kilmeedy (338) were closest to the bronze medal winners Ardpatrick.
In Category B (population 200-1,000), Galbally finished ahead of Broadford (second) and Glin (third). Here, there was an Endeavour Award for Patrickswell.
Adare was in Category C (population 1,000 to 2,500), where the second and third positions were filled by Kilmallock and Askeaton, respectively.
In Category D (population 2,500 to 5,000), Castleconnell was the winner.
In Category E (population 5,000 to 10,000), Newcastle West was victorious and also received a bronze medal.
