ALL-STARS CROSS STICKS WITH POLITICIANS

It will certainly be a match with a difference on Sunday 10th September next when Croagh-Kilfinny GAA Club will host a spectacular hurling match The All Stars v The Politicians in aid of the Lourdes Invalid Fund.
The Lourdes Invalid Fund hopes to raise €10,000 to send locals from county Limerick to Lourdes in the coming weeks.
Many of our Local and National politicians will line out against a star-studded team of our most famous hurlers and the ash won’t be spared.
A celebrity referee has also been sourced to keep the peace and keep the sliotar moving.
Among the politicians on view led by the Mayor of Limerick City and County, Cllr Stephen Keary will Cllr Richard O’Donoghue, Tom Neville, T.D, Cllrs Emmett O’Brien and Adam Teskey, Niall Collins T.D but to name a few.
Taking on the legislators will be a team of Limerick hurling household names including the Nash brothers Mike and Declan Gary Kirby, Ciarán Carey, Mark Foley, Donal O’Grady, Séamus hickey, Mike Houlihan, Frankie Carroll, John Roche, and Paul Foley
The Politicians and The All-Stars will play their part for this worthy cause and you can also play your part by turning out to support the event and encourage your friends and families to support it also.
The throw-in next Sunday in Croagh is at 12 noon.
We are expecting great support and a good turnout so please arrive early and enjoy the craic and the friendly or unfriendly banter.
