Newcastle West cyclist Autumn Collins will represent Ireland at the European U23 Track Cycling Championships which got under way yesterday in the Italian town of Montichiari. This will be Autumn’s third consecutive year representing Ireland at these championships after competing in the junior category for the past two years. Moving up to the U23 category this year, 18-year-old Autumn, who has just completed her Leaving Certificate, will compete in the 10k scratch race on Friday and the Keirin on Sunday.
