Charleville Business Awards 2016, hosted by Charleville Chamber, will be held this Saturday night November 12th in the Charleville Park Hotel, recognising the excellence and achievements of people in business, including services, industry and retail.
Pat McDonagh will be guest speaker, and after-dinner music will be provided by the Pete Rivers Band, followed by a disco to round off the night. There will be a raffle and spot prizes in aid of the Fight for Fionn Fund.
According to Charlevile Chamber, businesses in Ireland have been through some tough times in recent years, but Charleville has been luckier than some other parts of the country and county and still has a vibrant and bustling town. “The sole purpose of the awards night is to celebrate the businesses and business people of Charleville. We want to acknowledge their achievements and celebrate them together. This is also a great opportunity for networking and perhaps synergies being built together,” said a spokes-person. “Charleville seems to encourage entrepreneur-ship and this is testament to the new businesses that have opened up in the town and hinterland since the last awards two years ago. There are nine new businesses in the New Business category but there are many more in the area.
“People come from far and wide to shop in Charleville as we have such a large number and variety of businesses. It is vital for all businesses and business people to stick together and do business together.
“Charleville is a great town and we should be very proud of the town and businesses within it, so order your ticket today for a great night guaranteed.” Tickets are available from Charleville Park Hotel, E-Centre and Office Assist.
