Mallow handball player Cian O’Driscoll has been announced as captain for Team Ireland which will compete in September at the Pelota Teruel Handball Open in Valencia, Spain. Cian recently returned from Los Angeles, having won singles and doubles titles at the USA Nationals, and in Valencia he will partner with Fiachra Ó Dúill from Armagh who won three minor (U18) titles last year, and who will represent Team Ireland at the One Wall World Championships in Limerick next month.
