Last month, nine students from Davis College represented Ireland in the VEX World Robotics Championships in Los Angeles. There were over 400 teams participating from around the globe. Davis College was commended by the judges for its outstanding effort. The Robotics programme is highlighting the need for STEM subjects in schools. Davis College is delighted to be leading the way in this initiative. The college is already planning for next year’s competition, VEX Toss Up, and plans for the new build are well under way. While in the USA, the students were afforded the opportunity to visit Disneyland and an ice hockey game. The trip was a huge success and the college looks forward to entering again next year.
