With just two days to go to the eagerly-anticipated 2011 Mallow Business Awards, taking place this Saturday in Springford Hall, in conjunction with the Mallow Chamber Black Tie Ball, excitement is building for the nominees for the various awards. The finalists cover a diverse range of businesses, hoping to take home the award for Best Large/Medium Company, Best Small Company, Best New Business, Best Shop Front Design, Customer Service Award and the Mallow Enterpreneur of the Year. The black-tie evening begins with a drinks reception at 7.30pm followed by a sumptuous dinner, after which the winners of the various awards will be announced. MC for the night is Alan Short.
Now entering their fourth year, the Mallow Business Awards recognise the hard work, commitment and exceptional service provided by local businesses. The awards are also giving the people of Mallow the chance to vote for their favourite store in the Customer Service Award category, and the nominees in this category are Brídhaven Nursing Home, Food Capers, Sheehan Brother’s Butchers, Mallow Late Night Pharmacy, Dano’s (Spa Glen) and Brúdairs.
