Mallow Tidy Towns members were celebrating this week after taking 1st place in the town’s category of the Anti-Litter Challenge 2024, a competition promoted by the Cork County Council Environment Department and Cork County Council.
Mallow Tidy Towns would like to take this opportunity to thank all the amazing volunteers who are dedicated to keeping their town clean and tidy. They would like to thank the amazing outdoor staff of Cork County Council who work tirelessly to keep the town clean and tidy.
Mallow Tidy Towns carries out amazing work every week throughout the year, and welcomes all the support it can get. Last Saturday, the local GAA and camogie clubs joined Tidy Towns members for a clean-up on the Muddy Hill, and any other organisations which would like to help in the good work are invited to get in contact with any of the group’s volunteers.
