An Taoiseach Enda Kenny will visit Mallow on Friday, 19th Sept-ember to view the new developments at Dairy-gold as the co-op expands milk production. News of the visit was welcomed by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Seán Sherlock, who said, “I’m delighted that An Taoiseach will get to see at first-hand the work that is being carried out in Mallow. It highlights the importance of the work being carried out at Mallow that An Taoiseach is to visit to see the expansion of milk processing”.
He added, “I understand he will also be visiting the new processing complex in Mitchelstown to see what I believe is an impressive beginning for a re-emergence of Dairy in Mallow and North Cork”.
