Mallow United Special Olympics Club hosted a homecoming event on Sunday night to honour their four athletes, Jack Buckley, Gavin Bourke, Joe Joe Sheehan and James Hunter who participated in World Winter Games in Turin last week. They were very successful, with the floorball team coming home with bronze medals. Each of the athletes was presented with a beautiful commemorative crystal vase by a very proud club. Many thanks to Mike Forde and Doneraile Golf Club for their generous support.
